The Canada-United States Regulatory Cooperation Council Joint Action Plan

On December 7, 2011 Prime Minister Harper and President Obama released the Canada-United States Regulatory Cooperation Council’s (RCC) initial Joint Action Plan. The RCC Joint Action Plan represents Canadian and American agreement on 29 initiatives that will serve as an important step in establishing a new level of regulatory cooperation and alignment between Canada and the United States. The Joint Action Plan is available electronically at www.borderactionplan-plandactionfrontalier.gc.ca
CIFFA will be on Thursday morning participating on the Border Commercial Consultative Committee conference call to discuss the impact of these new policies. Further relevant information will be provided to Members in future eBulletins.
